Description

SSR EP lanolin alcohol (pharmaceutical grade) is a waxy, hard, pale yellow, virtually odorless solid.

Available in granulated (BHT-stabilized) or solid (tocopherol-stabilized) form.

This is the end product of a complex molecular distillation process designed to remove components that impair water absorption properties and significantly increase cholesterol content.

Composition

Lanolin alcohol SSR EP is the highly refined unsaponifiable fraction of lanolin, composed of a mixture of cholesterol, lanosterol, agnosterol and their dihydrogenated derivatives, as well as straight and branched-chain aliphatic alcohols.
